Single egg limited edition Curlew
A large stereotypical wader, known for its picturesque flight and echoing cry, chooses to breed on moorlands and in damp situations. They lay three- four large pear-shaped eggs in a slight hollow or tuft of grass, with a few dead leaves as a nesting material.
The eggs consist of a rich olive ground colour varying considerably from green to buff, these are mainly spotted with brown and grey and display perfectly the egg shape known as pyriform (pear-shaped).
This Curlew egg is part of a set of 7 individual specimens, which can be framed singularly or in a multi window mount.
