Single egg limited edition print Osprey
A very large platform of sticks, turf and branches placed at the top of a tree, and lined with grass is the favoured site for the osprey.
The eggs usually 2-3 are handsomely marked, a bold rounded egg with its cream or bluish white ground is usually attractively blotched with reddish-brown, purple and claret colouring. The markings tend to be most evident at the larger end. Some examples display lavenders and greys interspaced between the rust red blotches, combining their colours in a wonderful smooth transition.
This Ospreys egg is part of a set of 7 individual specimens which can be framed singularly or in a multi window mount.
